Alstonefield Parish Councillor Vacancy

There is currently an opportunity to join the Parish Council who need:

• a range of skills and experience
• a mix of people from different backgrounds
• people who can work collaboratively together to support our all Alstonefield Parish Communities

Council meetings are every 6 weeks, usually on a Wednesday evening at 7pm in the village hall. To find out more you can talk to any of the current Councillors.

To be eligible to hold the role of Councillor you must be:

• At least 18 years old •
• An elector of the parish or in the last 12 months occupied land or other premises in the parish (as owner or tenant) or work in the parish as your main or only place of work
• A UK or Commonwealth citizen or be a citizen of the Republic of Ireland or another Member State of the European Union
